The City has two CDBG business loan programs available now for qualifying start-up and existing businesses in Fort Bragg, California: * Micro-Loan Program: The Micro-Loan program is available to qualifying City start-up and existing businesses that have five or fewer employees, including the owner.
Micro loans are generally limited to $25,000. Terms are flexible, and funds may be used for operating capital including inventory purchases as well as for purchases of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
* Business Assistance Loan Program: This program provides needs-based financing for working capital, inventory, equipment, and real property purchase, construction or rehabilitation for businesses that can demonstrate the ability to create or retain one job for each $35,000 loaned.
