Seedco Financial is a national, nonprofit community development financial institution (CDFI).
Our mission is to stimulate economic development in low income communities by providing financial & technical assistance to small business, nonprofit organizations, & real estate developers that cannot access affordable financing through traditional means.
A small business loan applicant must: (a) have 100 or fewer employees; (b) operations for 12 months or more; (c) generated at least $200,000 in revenue during the prior 12 months; (d) operate within a targeted underserved area and/or demonstrate other forms of program eligibility.
Equipment and inventory financing, leasehold improvements, working capital, debt refinancing (subject to conditions).
(e) Located in the counties of Bronx, New York, Kings, Queens, Richmond, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester About the Fund – Loans range from $50,000 to $250,000 at rates of 8 to 10 percent annually.
– Loan terms range from three to five years, but may extend to seven.
– Loan proceeds can be used for working capital needs, leasehold improvements, relocation costs, equipment and inventory purchases, and other uses associated with business expansion.
