Seedco Financial, a not-for-profit organization, focuses on small business lending in Alabama, which seeks to stimulate economic development in communities that are underserved by traditional banking institutions by providing affordable capital, hands-on business assistance, and innovative solutions to small businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and real estate developers.
While much of the activity in Alabama has been in Birmingham and other urban markets, they have a targeted focus to lend in rural Black Belt communities.
Seedco Financial works with various local partners to provide services to low-income and economically distressed communities and to minority- and women-owned businesses that are challenged in today’s financial environment.
