The SBA awarded funds to LARDC in 1993 to establish the Microloan program.
The purpose of the fund is to assist eligible start-up and existing small businesses in North Dakota obtain fixed-rate financing.
Loan proceed may be used for working capital, inventory, and equipment needs with a maximum loan amount of $50,000. Funds are eligible for businesses in the North Dakota counties of Pembina, Walsh, Grand Forks, Nelson, Griggs, Steele, Traill, Barnes, Cass, Ransom, Sargent, Richland, Cavalier, Ramsey, Eddy, Foster, Dickey, LaMoure, and Stutsman.
