CMPDD fosters economic development through a variety of business financing programs for Mississippi businesses in Copiah, Hinds, Madison, Rankin, Simpson, Warren, and Yazoo Counties.
These programs are designed to help businesses grow and create jobs.
They are intended to work with, not replace, existing commercial financing and usually are combined with commercial sources to finance a complete project.
CMPDD works directly with the business client to package a financing plan that meets the needs and credit criteria of the business.
CMPDD can draw from one or more of the following financing programs: Economic Development Administration Revolving Loan Loan Maximum: $200,000 Loan Term: Up to 15 years Interest: 5.00% fixed Uses of Funds: Fixed Assets, Inventory, Working Capital Mississippi Minority Targeted Business: Minority owned including women Loan Maximum: $250,000 Loan Term: Up to 15 years Interest: 2.75% fixed Uses of Funds: Fixed Assets, Inventory, Working Capital Mississippi Minority Micro Loan Targeted Business: Minority owned including women Loan Maximum: $35,000 Loan Term: Up to 5 years Interest: 4.75% fixed Uses of Funds: Fixed Assets, Inventory, Working Capital Mississippi Small Business Assistance Loan Maximum: $250,000 Loan Term: Up to 15 years Interest: 4.75% fixed Uses of Funds: Fixed Assets, Inventory, Working Capital
