The Georgia Mountains Regional Commission provides financing for the private sector development to create new jobs and retain existing jobs in the Georgia counties of Lumpkin, Union, Towns, Rabun, White, Habersham, Dawson, Forsyth, Hall, Banks, Franklin and Hart.
New companies and expanding companies are eligible borrowers.
Also, companies which are able to retain existing jobs only if RLF funds are made available.
– Applicant to provide one (1) job for each $15,000 borrowed.
– Assist small businesses / entrepreneurs, businesses owned and operated by minorities, women and others who are economically or socially disadvantaged.
– RLF funds will be used for fixed asset loans and working capital loans.
– Minimum of $15,000 with maximum of $150,000. Bank 50%; RLF 40%; Borrower 10%.
