PPEP Microbusiness and Housing Development Corporation (PMHDC) is a 501 (c) 3 organization specializing in providing start-up and expansion funds to small businesses.
PPEP seek to assist those who are not able to acquire bank financing and targets women and minorities businesses in Maricopa County and rural Arizona including Cochise, Pinal, Pima, Santa Cruz and Yuma Counties.
Loans range from $500 to $35,000 and in rural areas for well established businesses up to $150,000. Loan terms are typically 1 to 5 years but large loan secured by real estate can be up to 20 years.
Interest rates are 9 to 11 percent.
