The Orleans Economic Development Agency (OEDA) has initiated a Microenterprise Assistance Program (MAP) with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding received from the New York State Governor’s Office for Small Cities (GOSC).
The Revolving Loan Fund is part of this Program to provide eligible small businesses access to capital.
Pursuant to Federal regulations: – The business must employ five or fewer employees & be located in Orleans County.
– The microenterprise must be in existence for at least one year prior to application for a loan.
– The business must demonstrate an ability to grow and provide expanded employment opportunities for low and moderate-income persons.
The sole exception to this criterion will be for owners of microenterprises who are themselves low and moderate-income persons.
Loans Amount: up to a maximum of $75,000 Interest Rate: 75% of prime
