The Greenville Board of Development has targeted $25,000 annually to provide façade grants to building owners in downtown Greenville, Texas.

The program will be administered through the Main Street Advisory Board and the Main Street Office.

The goal of the program is to provide funding assistance to improve and rehabilitate bulding façades in the downtown central area zone.

Buildings designated as historic by the State of Texas or the Main Street Advisory Board will be given preference.

Restoration of storefronts to their historic status will also be given preference.

Application Process Grants are available at a 50/50 match from a minimum grant amount of $2,500 to a maximum grant amount of $5,000. The grant funds cannot exceed 50% of the cost of each project.
