The Chamber of Schenectady County New York offers a Façade Program which is funded by the Schenectady Metroplex Development Authority.
This program provides dollar-for-dollar matching grants for improvements to the exterior of commercial buildings in eligible corridors in Schenectady County.
The program typically assists with projects ranging from $6,000 to $60,000. In addition to the dollar-for-dollar matching grant, the program provides architectural services for the project including design, bidding, contracting and construction management.
These architectural services are generally provided at no cost to the applicant.
