MAPA has established the Business Assistance Revolving Loan Fund to provide a new public financing tool to enhance business assistance programs and services to businesses and communities in Douglas, Sarpy & Washington Counties Nebraska and Pottawattamie & Mills Counties, Iowa.
The RLF operates in partnership with private lending institutions, offering gap financing to leverage private sector investment in small businesses and new enterprises.
The primary objectives of establishing the MAPA Businesses Assistance Revolving Loan Fund are to assist businesses in quality job creation and retention in the MAPA region and to provide an incentive for private lenders to assist in financing small businesses and entrepreneurial ventures that diversify our regional economy.
Assistance is offered in partnership with local lending institutions, with maximum loan amounts of $170,000. Average loan amounts are typically $40,000-$50,000.
