The purpose of the City of Gardiner, Maine business revolving loan fund is to provide incentive for: – Commercial and professional service business to locate and/or expand in Gardiner, creating new job opportunities for the un/under-employed.
– Downtown property owners to rehabilitate their blighted buildings and make use of vacant space.
– Existing business in the downtown area to realize their full market potential and locate in an area better suited (and zoned for) for light industrial use.
Loan amounts are available up to $100,000. The interest rate charged would be negotiable dependent on need, risk, and current market conditions.
The maximum term will be 15 years.
