Marion County, Kansas has a Micro-loan program designed to assist low to moderate income small business owners by providing loans and technical assistance to establish or expand businesses in the County and help ensure success over time.

Loan funds can be used for: – Advertising – Expansion Equipment – General Working Capital – Increasing Inventory – Start-Up Equipment Loan Size: – Up to $15,000 for an existing or start-up business – No limit on total project debt – Other funds available through companion programs for projects that qualify – Interest rate is Prime + 1.0% Note: Other County funds may be available with requirements similar to the Micro-loan program.
