Areas Served: Union, Adair, Madison, Adams, Clarke, Taylor, Ringgold and Decatur Counties
The Southern Iowa Council of Governments Industrial Revolving Loan Fund will make loans at an interest rate that is below the prime lending rate, not to be less than 4% to qualifying commercial and industrial projects.
The maximum loan may not exceed $125,000, and the term shall be ten years.
A coordination will be required with the local development corporation, who must financially support the application with a 25% local match.
SICOG will request some type of security on the loan.
The project MUST create jobs, with an agency target of $10,000 of loan funds per new job created.
