The Small Business Loan Fund was created to provide alternative financing to stable small businesses in targeted core urban neighborhoods in Indianapolis.
The goals of the Small Business Loan Fund are the following:
¢ Provide a unique resource for small business loans
¢ Cultivate a new, stable market for financial institutions
¢ Stimulate entrepreneurship and small business growth
¢ Expand and diversify job base
¢ Provide technical assistance to small businesses Who is eligible? Any business located within the core urban neighborhoods of Indianapolis is eligible.
Loans must create or retain jobs or help develop, rehabilitate, or revitalize the neighborhood.
Business location must be in a designated low income census tract area.
Loan Amount: Minimum $20,000; Maximum $80,000 Loan Term: Maximum term of 5 years Interest rate is variable
