The Greater Wabash Regional Planning Commission Revolving Loan Fund was funded by a grant through the Economic Development Administration.
Money loaned is for businesses looking to create or save jobs in the seven county area of Crawford, Edwards, Lawrence, Richland, Wabash, Wayne and White Counties in Southeast Illinois.
The maximum amount of RLF funds in any one project is $100,000 and cannot exceed 33% of the total project (Funds must be leveraged with $2 of private sector monies for every $1 of RLF monies).
Criteria for loans include: working capital, construction, reuse and modernization of facitilies, equipment, or purchase of inventory.
The interest rate is 4 points below the current US treasury rate, not below 4.5%.
