The city of New Haven offers several different loan programs for businesses in New Haven, Connecticut.
The Small Business Revolving Loan Program makes funds up to $40,000 available for start-up or existing businesses located within the City of New Haven.
Loan funds must be used for economic development activities which result in job creation or retention, including acquisition of real estate renovations or repairs, purchase of inventory, equipment or other goods, working capital, or purchase of existing business.
The Small Business Initiative Loan Program offers from $10,000 to $250,000 to businesses not located in the Enterprise Community/Enterprise Zone.
The HUD 108 Loan Program offers up to $250,000, but requires a one-for-one match with private financing.
Businesses must be existing businesses located within, or willing to relocate into the City of New Haven.
