RMMFI strives to provide support and loans to microenterprises in the Denver Metro area that are well positioned to benefit from a mix of learning, lending, and coaching.
The loans available include:
Business Builder Loans $250 $2500, 6 month, 8-12% interest loans – Manageable capital to start or expand a business – Applicant must have written business plan in place
Innovation Fund Up to $2500, 6 month, 9% interest loans – Partnership with Metro State’s Center for Innovation – Applicants must have taken business planning coursework and be able to demonstrate the existence of a well thought out business plan RMMFI cannot provide opportunity for any business that cannot be defined as a microenterprise* or that falls into any of the below categories: – Any business operating in or catering directly to medical marijuana – Tobacco shops and liquor stores – Pawn shops – Pornography – Any business concept deemed to be in any way predatory *RMMFI defines a microenterprise as a business entity with 5 or fewer employees requiring immediate capital needs of $15,000 or less.
