Community investment loan Fund The Community Investment Loan Fund provides below-market financing for developing licensed quality child care and preschool facilities for Ventura County’s children.
Loans may be used for the planning, construction, expansion and rehabilitation of new or existing licensed child care and preschool centers.
The fund’s goal is to promote and fund a measurable increase in the number of child care and preschool spaces.
The Community Investment Loan Fund program features:
- Low-cost and affordable credit terms
- Guidance in preparing loan application documents
- Interest rates ranging from two points below prime rate to two points above
- Separate loan products for planning and development, construction and long-term amortized financing
- Pre-financing technical assistance and professional business assistance for loan applicants
- Liaison to city and county planning and permitting offices
- Connection to other financing, child care and preschool community resources
