EDA Revolving Loan Programs: The District administers this business loan designed for financing new business expansion opportunities that will result in the creation of one new job for every $10,000 borrowed in the Arkansas Counties of Clay, Randolph, Greene, Lawrence, Craighead, Mississippi, Poinsett, Cross, Crittenden, St. Francis, Lee, Phillips.
Eligible activities for investments are business acquisitions, construction, conversion, enlargement, repair, modernization and development costs; purchase and development of land, easements, rights-of-way, buildings, facilities, leases or materials; purchase of equipment, leasehold improvements, machinery or supplies; pollution control and abatement; transportation services; start-up operating costs and working capital; interest on interim financing; feasibility studies; reasonable fees related to the project; and aquaculture.
The maximum loan amount is 33% of project costs, or $200,000, whichever is less.
