The North-Central Alabama Regional Council of Government operates a Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) for the counties of Cullman, Lawrence and Morgan for the purpose of providing gap financing for businesses that are financially healthy and growing but cannot obtain adequate financing to complete an expansion or start-up project.
The RLF Program participates with private lenders in approving loans that a bank might not ordinarily consider on their own.
The Program makes good projects better by filling in a missing piece of the project financing.
Funds can be used for: – land or building acquisition – site preparation – building construction – renovation, restoration or remodeling – equipment and machinery – working capital Approximate loan amounts range from $10,000 to $20,000 but can vary.
